Bacon Brown Sugar Garlic Chicken (Printable Version)

Juicy chicken wrapped in bacon with brown sugar and garlic for a sticky-sweet, savory bite.

# What You'll Need:

→ Main Ingredients

01 - 150 grams brown sugar, firmly packed
02 - 3 tablespoons minced garlic
03 - 0.75 teaspoon kosher salt
04 - 0.5 teaspoon coarse ground black pepper
05 - 6 boneless, skinless chicken breast fillets (115–140 grams each)
06 - 12 slices streaky bacon

# Steps to Follow:

01 - In a large mixing bowl, thoroughly blend brown sugar, minced garlic, salt, and coarse ground black pepper.
02 - Evenly coat each chicken breast in the sugar and spice mixture, ensuring all sides are covered.
03 - Wrap each chicken breast with two slices of bacon, positioning the ends underneath to secure during baking.
04 - Place the wrapped chicken breasts into a baking dish with sides at least 5 centimetres high, leaving space between each piece.
05 - Distribute any remaining sugar mixture evenly on top of the bacon-wrapped chicken.
06 - Bake in a preheated oven at 190°C for 25–30 minutes, or until the bacon is crisp and the chicken is cooked through.
07 - Carefully watch the chicken during the final minutes to prevent the sugar from burning.

# Additional Notes:

01 - Allow the chicken to rest for a few minutes after baking to retain juices and achieve optimal texture.
