Bang Bang Salmon Bites (Printable Version)

Crispy salmon bites tossed in creamy, spicy-sweet bang bang sauce. Easy, flavorful and dazzling for any table.

# What You'll Need:

→ Salmon

01 - 450 g salmon fillets, skin removed

→ Seasonings

02 - 1 tablespoon olive oil
03 - 0.5 teaspoon garlic powder
04 - 0.5 teaspoon onion powder
05 - 0.5 teaspoon smoked paprika
06 - 0.25 teaspoon cayenne pepper, optional
07 - Salt, to taste
08 - Black pepper, to taste

→ Bang Bang Sauce

09 - 60 ml mayonnaise
10 - 30 ml Thai sweet chili sauce
11 - 5 ml sriracha
12 - 5 ml honey
13 - 2.5 ml lime juice

# Steps to Follow:

01 - Cut salmon fillets into 2.5 cm cubes and place in a large bowl.
02 - Toss salmon cubes with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, cayenne pepper if using, salt, and black pepper until evenly coated.
03 - Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook salmon cubes 2–3 minutes per side until golden and crisp on the exterior.
04 - Preheat oven to 200°C. Arrange salmon pieces on a baking sheet lined with parchment. Bake for 10–12 minutes until cooked through.
05 - Preheat air fryer to 190°C. Place seasoned salmon in the basket in a single layer. Cook 8–10 minutes, turning halfway, until salmon is crisp and cooked through.
06 - In a small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, Thai sweet chili sauce, sriracha, honey, and lime juice until smooth.
07 - Toss cooked salmon with bang bang sauce or drizzle sauce over salmon bites. Serve immediately and garnish as desired.

# Additional Notes:

01 - Adjust the amount of cayenne and sriracha to modulate heat level according to preference.
02 - The sauce can be prepared ahead and stored refrigerated for up to 2 days.
03 - Salmon may be cooked via skillet, oven, or air fryer as preferred.
