Best Seafood Pasta Salad (Printable Version)

Creamy Seafood Pasta Salad with shrimp, crab, veggies & zesty lemon dressing.

# What You'll Need:

→ Salad

01 - 8 ounces pasta (rotini, penne, or fusilli)
02 - 1 cup cooked shrimp, peeled and deveined
03 - 1 cup crab meat (fresh or canned)
04 - 1/2 cup chopped celery
05 - 1/2 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
06 - 1/4 cup diced red onion
07 - 1 tablespoon chopped fresh dill
08 - Lemon wedges, for serving

→ Dressing

09 - 1/2 cup mayonnaise
10 - 2 tablespoons lemon juice
11 - 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
12 - Salt and pepper to taste

# Steps to Follow:

01 - In a large pot of salted boiling water, cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain in a colander and rinse under cold water to stop the cooking process. Set aside to cool.
02 - In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooled pasta, shrimp, crab meat, celery, cherry tomatoes, and red onion. Toss gently to mix.
03 - In a small bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, lemon juice, Dijon mustard, salt, and pepper until smooth and creamy.
04 - Pour the dressing over the salad mixture. Add the chopped fresh dill and toss everything until well coated. Cover and refrigerate the salad for at least 30 minutes to let the flavors meld.
05 - Give the salad a quick stir before serving and garnish with lemon wedges on the side.

# Additional Notes:

01 - Don’t overcook the pasta—it should be al dente to hold up in the creamy dressing.
02 - While fresh seafood gives the best flavor, canned or frozen shrimp and crab work in a pinch.
03 - For a lighter version of the dressing, use half mayonnaise and half Greek yogurt.
