Place chicken breasts or thighs in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over the meat. Ensure each piece is evenly coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes; marinate up to 2 hours for deeper flavor.

Choose preferred method: For grilling, preheat grill and cook chicken 6–8 minutes per side, basting with extra marinade. Grill pineapple alongside for enhanced flavor. For baking, preheat oven to 190°C, arrange chicken and pineapple chunks in a baking dish, cover with remaining marinade, and bake for 30 minutes. For slow cooking, combine chicken, pineapple, and marinade in a slow cooker, and cook on low for 4–5 hours.
