Buffalo Chicken Grilled Cheese (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Main Components

01 - 8 slices sandwich bread
02 - 2 cups cooked chicken breast, shredded (preferably rotisserie)
03 - 2 teaspoons minced garlic
04 - 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
05 - 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
06 - 1/2 teaspoon paprika
07 - 120 ml Frank's hot sauce
08 - 120 ml ranch dressing (homemade or store-bought)
09 - 113 grams cream cheese, softened
10 - 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
11 - 4 to 8 slices muenster cheese
12 - 4 tablespoons crumbled blue cheese

# Instructions:

01 - In a bowl, combine softened cream cheese, crumbled blue cheese, paprika, ground black pepper, and cayenne pepper. Mash and stir until fully integrated. Set aside.
02 - Combine shredded chicken, hot sauce, ranch dressing, and minced garlic in a separate bowl. Mix until chicken is evenly coated with the sauce.
03 - Spread a layer of butter on one side of each bread slice. Flip over and spread cheese mixture on four slices. Top each cheese-covered slice with an equal portion of buffalo chicken mixture (approximately 120 ml per sandwich). Place muenster cheese slices on the remaining bread slices and close each sandwich.
04 - Heat a large skillet over low heat and spray lightly with cooking spray. Place sandwiches in the skillet, butter side down. Cook for 5 minutes or until bread is golden and crisp, then flip and cook the other side until evenly browned and cheese is melted. Grill in batches if necessary.
05 - Remove sandwiches from the pan. Serve promptly with extra buffalo sauce, ranch, or blue cheese dressing if desired.

# Notes:

01 - To maintain crispiness when reheating, wrap the sandwich in foil and bake at 180°C for 10–15 minutes. For a softer texture, microwave for 30 seconds, though bread may lose its crunch.
02 - Substitute muenster or blue cheese with Colby Jack, Monterey Jack, white cheddar, or mozzarella to suit personal preference.
03 - Additional fillings such as mashed avocado, diced tomatoes, or chopped celery can be incorporated into the chicken mixture or layered with the cheese.
