Preheat the oven to 190°C. Grease a 23x33 cm baking dish with butter or non-stick spray.

Arrange the Hawaiian rolls in the baking dish. Cut a small square in the top of each roll and gently remove some of the bread without cutting through the base.

In a bowl, combine the melted butter, brown sugar, and ground cinnamon. Mix thoroughly. Brush the mixture over the tops and interiors of each roll.

With a hand mixer, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth. Add granulated sugar and egg, then continue beating until creamy and homogeneous.

Carefully spoon the cream cheese filling into each roll cavity, distributing it generously among the rolls.

Place the baking dish in the preheated oven. Bake for 15 minutes, or until the rolls are golden and the filling is set. Allow to cool briefly before serving.
