Easy Hawaiian Cinnamon Rolls (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ For the Rolls

01 - 1 package (12 count) King's Hawaiian original sweet rolls
02 - 6 tablespoons salted butter, melted
03 - 2 tablespoons brown sugar
04 - 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon

→ For the Cream Cheese Filling

05 - 227 grams (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
06 - 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
07 - 1 large egg

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat the oven to 190°C. Grease a 23x33 cm baking dish with butter or non-stick spray.
02 - Arrange the Hawaiian rolls in the baking dish. Cut a small square in the top of each roll and gently remove some of the bread without cutting through the base.
03 - In a bowl, combine the melted butter, brown sugar, and ground cinnamon. Mix thoroughly. Brush the mixture over the tops and interiors of each roll.
04 - With a hand mixer, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth. Add granulated sugar and egg, then continue beating until creamy and homogeneous.
05 - Carefully spoon the cream cheese filling into each roll cavity, distributing it generously among the rolls.
06 - Place the baking dish in the preheated oven. Bake for 15 minutes, or until the rolls are golden and the filling is set. Allow to cool briefly before serving.

# Notes:

01 - For added freshness, top with berries before baking.
02 - Best enjoyed warm.
03 - Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
