06 - ¼ cup maple syrup or honey
07 - 1 large egg
08 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

→ Chocolate Boost

09 - ¼ cup dark chocolate chips (optional but recommended)

# Instructions:

01 - Set the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
02 - In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, salt, and baking soda.
03 - In a separate bowl, whisk the Greek yogurt, maple syrup (or honey), egg, and vanilla extract until smooth.
04 - Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined. Avoid overmixing to keep the brownies tender.
05 - If using, gently stir in the dark chocolate chips.
06 - Pour the batter into the prepared pan, spreading it evenly.
07 - Place the pan in the oven and bake for 20–25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
08 - Let the brownies cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack.
09 - Cut into 9 even pieces and serve warm or at room temperature.
