# What You'll Need:

01 - 450 g ground beef
02 - 1 small onion, finely chopped
03 - 1 teaspoon garlic powder
04 - 1 teaspoon onion powder
05 - Salt, to taste
06 - Black pepper, to taste

07 - 110 g shredded cheddar cheese

→ Batter

08 - 240 ml milk
09 - 65 g all-purpose flour
10 - 2 large eggs
11 - 1 teaspoon baking powder

12 - Tomatoes, chopped
13 - Lettuce, shredded
14 - Pickles
15 - Ketchup
16 - Mustard

# Steps to Follow:

01 - Preheat the oven to 200°C and grease a 23 cm pie dish.
02 - Heat a skillet over medium heat. Add ground beef, breaking it apart as it cooks until no longer pink.
03 - Stir in the chopped onion, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Continue cooking until the onion is soft and translucent. Drain any excess fat.
04 - Transfer the beef mixture into the prepared pie dish, spreading evenly. Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese over the beef layer.
05 - In a mixing bowl, whisk together milk, all-purpose flour, eggs, and baking powder until smooth. Pour the batter evenly over the beef and cheese.
06 - Place the dish in the preheated oven and bake for 25–30 minutes, until the top is golden and set.
07 - Remove from the oven and allow to cool for several minutes before slicing. Garnish with chopped tomatoes, shredded lettuce, pickles, ketchup, or mustard if desired.
