02 - 99 grams old-fashioned rolled oats
03 - 100 grams light brown sugar
04 - 0.5 teaspoon ground cinnamon
05 - 0.25 teaspoon fine salt
06 - 113 grams cold unsalted butter, cubed

→ Apple Filling

07 - 650 grams fresh apples, such as Golden Delicious or Honeycrisp (about 7 to 8 medium apples), cored, peeled, and sliced
08 - 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
09 - 32 grams all-purpose flour
10 - 100 grams granulated sugar
11 - 79 grams light brown sugar, firmly packed
12 - 1 teaspoon fine salt
13 - 0.5 teaspoon ground cinnamon
14 - 0.25 teaspoon ground ginger
15 - 0.125 teaspoon ground allspice
16 - 0.125 teaspoon ground cloves
17 - 0.125 teaspoon ground nutmeg

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat oven to 190°C. Lightly grease a 33x23 cm metal or glass pan with butter or nonstick spray and set aside.
02 - Combine flour, oats, brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt in a medium bowl. Whisk to blend. Using a pastry cutter or fork, cut in the cold butter until the mixture forms pea-sized crumbs. Refrigerate topping while preparing the apples.
03 - In a large bowl, toss sliced apples with lemon juice to coat evenly.
04 - In a separate bowl, mix flour, granulated sugar, brown sugar, salt, cinnamon, ginger, allspice, cloves, and nutmeg. Sprinkle the dry mixture over the apples and mix thoroughly until apples are evenly coated.
05 - Distribute the prepared apple mixture evenly in the greased pan. Sprinkle the chilled streusel topping over the apples in an even layer.
06 - Bake for 30–35 minutes, until apples are tender and topping is golden brown. Allow to cool for 20 minutes before serving. Best enjoyed warm, optionally topped with vanilla ice cream.

# Notes:

01 - Adjust the spice quantities according to personal taste or spice freshness, as older spices offer less flavor intensity.
