Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 9×9-inch baking pan with parchment paper or grease it lightly.

In a large bowl, mix the cake mix, melted butter, egg, vanilla, and peppermint extract until well combined. Press 2/3 of the dough into the bottom of the prepared baking pan.

Sprinkle the white chocolate chips and crushed candy canes over the dough. Pour the sweetened condensed milk evenly over the top.

Crumble the remaining 1/3 of the dough over the top. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and the center is set but still gooey.

Let cool for at least 1 hour before slicing into bars. (Optional) Sprinkle with extra crushed candy canes for a festive touch!
