# What You'll Need:

→ Roll-Up Components

01 - 8 slices white or whole wheat bread, crusts removed
02 - 8 breakfast sausage links

→ Egg Custard

03 - 4 large eggs
04 - 120 ml milk
05 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
06 - 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

→ For Cooking & Serving

07 - 1 tablespoon butter
08 - Maple syrup, to serve
09 - Powdered sugar, for dusting (optional)

# Steps to Follow:

01 - Cook the breakfast sausage links as directed on their packaging. Set aside once fully cooked.
02 - Trim the crusts from each bread slice and flatten with a rolling pin to create an even surface.
03 - In a shallow bowl, thoroughly whisk together the eggs, milk, vanilla extract, and ground cinnamon.
04 - Place a sausage link at one end of each flattened bread slice. Roll the bread tightly around the sausage and secure with a toothpick if necessary.
05 - Coat each rolled bread and sausage entirely in the egg mixture, ensuring all surfaces are covered.
06 - Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat. Arrange the dipped roll-ups in the skillet and cook, turning as needed, until golden brown on all sides, about 3–4 minutes. Remove toothpicks if used.
07 - Serve warm with a drizzle of maple syrup and dust with powdered sugar if desired.
